Amali for Arts’ mentee gets artworks sold in Switzerland
December 17, 2021 – Three artworks by Jordanian artist Dina Malkawi have been sold in Switzerland following a one-year mentorship program “Amali for Arts.”
Amali for Arts, a project under the umbrella of the Amali Mentoring Network, aimed to give global publicity to 5 female Jordanian artists, to support them first as artists and second as women.
Rasha Oudeh, who designed Amali Mentoring Network, partnered with UK-based Marlene Corbun de Kérobert and Florie-Anne Virgile from “Life of the Artist” to mentor and promote the talents of Jordanian female artists on a global level.
Most of Malkwai’s artworks are focused on human figures with their surroundings reflected through color and broad play of brush strokes.
