Crowdinvesting is becoming increasingly relevant as a financing instrument. It no longer serves only as a kick-off for startups but prompts established companies to reconsider their conventional strategies for capital increase. At the same time, it provides everyone with the opportunity to invest easily in promising industries. The latest example: CEDEM Switzerland. The internationally successful Swiss Nutraceutical company is turning to crowdinvesting for its further expansion strategy. CEO Rasha Oudeh discusses the motivations.

“My goal has always been and remains global presence. Building on our existing successes, our current objective is to expand into primary markets in Europe and the key market, the USA. We are currently launching the first products and gradually introducing the entire product range to the market. Simultaneously, we are implementing a Direct-to-Sale E-Commerce strategy, offering our products directly to end customers through our online shop and Amazon, instead of using distributors.”
